I didn’t have food. Stopped in for a drink. Super chill vibe. Didn’t feel like SI. Felt more like Bk Or NYC. They were playing Drake so the music was good. Bartender mixed me her own creation which was smooth, strong & awesome. This is def gonna be my after dinner grab a drink w my man spot! Great for couples.

Finally made it to The Alchemist Cocktail Lounge, and it definitely lived up to the hype.
The atmosphere is what stands out first. It's dark, classy, and has that upscale speakeasy vibe without feeling pretentious. The lighting, music, and overall aesthetic make it a great place for date night or just relaxing with friends over a few drinks.
The cocktails were the real star. Every drink looked like it belonged in a magazine, but more importantly, they tasted as good as they looked. You can tell the bartenders actually care about the presentation and balance of flavors instead of just pouring alcohol into a fancy glass.
Food was surprisingly good too. The tuna tartare was fresh and flavorful, served simply with toasted pita so the tuna remained the focus. The fish and chips were crispy, flaky, and cooked perfectly, with seasoned waffle fries that were addictive.
Service was friendly, drinks came out quickly, and nobody rushed us. It's the kind of place where you actually want to sit, talk, and enjoy the experience.
If I had one suggestion, it would be to expand the happy hour a bit because this is the kind of place you'd want to visit more often.
Overall, I'd absolutely come back. If you're on Staten Island and appreciate craft cocktails, a sophisticated atmosphere, and quality food, The Alchemist is definitely worth checking out. 5/5.
